As parents in our 30s and 40s with preschool through middle school children, our emphasis is to further our faith and incorporate it into our lives within our small group. Prayer and scripture guide our actions.

This quarter we are studying the book of Nehemiah. The book highlights themes of leadership, perseverance, faith, and the importance of rebuilding both physical and spiritual lives. Nehemiah’s leadership is marked by a clear vision, strategic planning, and a deep reliance on prayer. We have much to learn from the example Nehemiah gave us.
